Leonard and Bubba have to get back there prize pig who has been abducted by Aliens, you have to help them. Redneck Rampage is a crazy ass 3D shooter that takes place in Hickston, Arkansas.

The aliens have been cloning the townsfolk, like the drunkard Billy Ray. The aliens (townsfolk) are lurking around just about every obstacle, trying to waste you and stop you from getting the pig back. The weapons that you find in game range from a crowbar to an alien arm gun, your primary weapon is a revolver, and as explore more of Hickston you will find shotguns and Dynamite.

This game like so many others is based on the same engine that was used for Duke Nukem. I think that it is about time to get a new engine, not that the Build engine is bad or anything, everything looks the same, all of the objects (they have the same feel), and the main menu page. I would like to see the guys at 3DRealms enhance the engine, or even create a newer or better engine.

Redneck Rampage is your worst nightmare, a bunch of Drunk Rednecks shooting, hooting and hollering. The difference here is that you get to be a Redneck, so you belch whenever you want, you can shoot up the local bar, you can drink as much as you want, and you won't get thrown in Jail. Redneck Rampage is a blast to play! The game play is fast and the situation you are put in is fun. It is easy enough to pick up how to play the game and become proficent. I think that there is a little bit of a fudge factor in the aiming mechanism of the game, because I was making some incredible long distance shots. Which saved my ass I might add, because the aliens can see you from across the road and in the shadows, once they see you they usually start shooting. There shooting alerts you to there location, but by that time they have usually got off several rounds.

The power ups in this game are equally as fun as the rest of the game. You must go around and pick up Whiskey, Beer, Moon Pies, and Pork Rinds, to keep yourself alive. As you eat and drink all of this junk, your alcohol level goes up and your beer belly goes out. Unfortunately this is represented on a pair of dials, but thats ok, who wants to see there own beer belly.

Redneck Rampage is a blast, I would recommend it to all of my friends.
