SIERRA ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF LORDS OF THE REALM II SIEGE PACK

Sierra On-Line, the market share leader of the PC entertainment industry, today announced the release of Lords of the Realm II Siege Pack, an exciting add-on to the very popular Lords of the Realm II Created by Impressions Software, the Lords of the Realm II Siege Pack provides Lords of the Realm II game owners with new skirmish-only mode, new battle locations, new map editor, and exciting head-to-head combat on the Internet.

Lords of the Realm II, released in November, 1996 is Sierra On-Line's best-selling strategy game ever. In the game, players manage their resources to create a strong county while building castles and manufacturing weapons to help strengthen and defend the territory. Once the player has a strong population and enough weaponry, an army can be raised to attack and conquer the territories of neighboring lords. The kingdom and resource management are turn-based, with exciting battles in real-time, using 12th century tactics and weapons. The user interface is designed to quickly enable players to jump onto the game regardless of skill level.

The Lords of the Realm II Siege Pack introduces "Skirmish Mode" so players can simply concentrate on all out warfare by jumping straight into battle. New on-line support enables exciting head-to-head combat on the Internet. Plus, 10 new castle designs, 20 all-new battle maps, a map editor, and more aggressive artificial intelligence, take the Lords of the Realm II Siege Pack to the next level -- one bloodstained step closer to the English throne.

SEATTLE, WA, June 6, 1997 - Cavedog Entertainment's forthcoming Total Annihilation will break new ground in real-time strategy games in October with true 3D terrain, run-time 3D units plus an ongoing supply of unique downloadable 3D vehicles, buildings, missions and maps. Cavedog Entertainment's www.cavedog.com web site contains exclusive features such as the 3D unit viewer for the inspection of the actual game units, animated screen shots to see how the game actually looks while being played, critical game information and data, plus the Total Annihilation bulletin board.
